Hard Wood

Every time I go to Ukiah to visit my boyfriend’s dad I see something new to photograph. One tree never looks the same the next time you see it. It’s funny how nature is like that. This time around I really focused on the wood around the property, whether it was the trees, chopped wooden, stumps or branches. Each piece has something of its own to offer.

Rays of Light

Shining through the forest. Rays of Light running through the trees. These rays of light are a beautiful gift from nature and a really beautiful sight to see. 

Spider Webs

I don't know how to describe what I see in this other then "Spider Web." I recently spent some time in Ukiah up in the mountains. I ventured around the property with my camera not knowing what to expect. I hate the feeling that most of my photos just look like boring pictures of trees, like there is no depth to them or something to see. I found that this photo made me see something more then just branches. Tangled, intertwined with no direction or journey yet still so alive. 

The Tree Has Eyes

 It has eyes!! Lola has a thing for trees. I feel like in this photograph you can see the connection. Don’t you agree?
